A three-year project aiming at finding new solutions for smart mobility and congestion-free mobility has been launched at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Finland wants to become a central player in mobility as a service (Maas) solutions that solve global problems from traffic congestion to emissions.

Dr. Arto O. Salonen is in charge of this multi-disciplinary project. His approach combines technology, human behaviour, social change and the opportunities presented by the services market. The project is financed by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Finnish Transport Safety Agency (Trafi), the Finnish Transport Agency together with Metropolia University of Applied Sciences
