The second Smart Regions conference organised by the European Commission is taking place this year in Helsinki and the registration is now open. On 1 – 2 June, national and regional authorities from all over Europe will gather in Helsinki to discuss their experiences on how the smart specialisation strategies are working in their respective regions and countries. The conclusions of the discussion will be an important contribution to the discussion on the future of Cohesion Policy post-2020.

The conference hosts up tp 850 participants for the two-day event and is the platform for open discussions with the regions and high-level speakers from the EU institutions and other organisations.

The registration for the event is now open until 19 May.
