Helsinki-Uusimaa Week – five days of events for everyone

The Helsinki-Uusimaa Week on 9-13.5.2022 is awash with over 30 events by municipalities, various schools, organizations and other regional actors. The theme for 2021 is EnviroSmart Helsinki-Uusimaa. The week highlights the environmental work being done in the whole region.

Plenty of activities and creative ideas are offered for everyone across the region and online!

Each day has its theme: Europe Day is celebrated on Monday, Tuesday focuses on well-being, culture and community are on the spotlight on Wednesday, Thursday’s theme is education and skills, and Friday’s events are based around competitiveness.

Helsinki-Uusimaa European Entrepreneurial Region Year 2022 organizes one of the main events of the week on Friday about smart environment and competitiveness. Click here for more information about the open event (in Finnish).

The Helsinki-Uusimaa Week was first held in 2012, and it is coordinated by the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council. The week is held every May, with a new theme.
